Description
Ruffino's Toscana Rosso Alauda was born in the vineyards located in the Poggio Casciano estates.
It is produced with Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Colorino grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in French barriques for 24 months and for a further 4 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.
It is characterized by an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose opens with an intense bouquet of ripe red fruit, enriched by pleasant herbaceous, spicy and balsamic notes. On the palate it is structured, with elegant tannins.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it also goes well with aged cheeses.
