Description

Il Poderuccio by Camigliano is an organic red wine produced with a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes, grown in the clay and limestone soils south of Montalcino.

The vinification involves fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 25-26°C, followed by 6 months of aging in French oak barriques and tonneaux. This process gives the wine structure and softness, maintaining the balance between alcohol and acidity. It presents itself with pleasant tannins from the first tastings, offering great potential for aging.

Dark red in color with purple highlights, the nose releases notes of lavender, blackberries and black fruits, accompanied by hints of mineral earth. On the palate it is full-bodied and rounded, with a silky texture and a pleasant softness. The finish is long and balanced, leaving a sensation of freshness and refined complexity.

This red wine is particularly suitable to accompany red meats, cured meats and cheeses, also offering excellent versatility with vegetable and fish-based dishes.
