Description

Fortuni is a Pinot Noir produced in Tuscany with grapes coming from vineyards located on south-east facing slopes at 250 meters above sea level.

The harvest is manual and the grapes are carefully selected. Fermentation is completely natural and takes place in oak vats for 18-25 days at a controlled temperature. Aging lasts 12 months in French oak barriques, half of which are new, followed by 3-6 months in concrete tanks and a further 12-24 months in the bottle.

The color is intense ruby red. On the nose it presents a fine bouquet of cherry, berries and spicy balsamic notes. On the palate it is soft, delicate and well balanced, with elegant tannins and good acidity. It is a full-bodied wine, with good structure and persistence.

It pairs perfectly with grilled red meats, game and mature cheeses. Served at a lower temperature, it also goes well with grilled cod, tuna and octopus.
