Description
The Pinot Grigio of Col d'Orcia comes to life from the alluvial terraces that adorn the hills overlooking the Orcia and Ombrone rivers, characterized by a favorable southern exposure.
Each bunch is the result of manual harvesting carried out in the coolest hours of the morning. Soft pressing allows the free-run must to be obtained, fermented for 10-12 days at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C.
It appears straw yellow in color with greenish reflections. On the nose it reveals an intense and fragrant bouquet, with fruity notes of citrus fruits and white flowers. The palate is balanced, supported by a fresh acidity which preludes a savory and persistent finish.
It is ideal in combination with fish and shellfish dishes.
