Description

The Rosso Rosso Philip of Mazzei is dedicated to the illustrious ancestor of the Philip Philip Mazzei family (1730-1816), passionate winemaker, liberal thinker and citizen of the world.

It is produced with a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, grown and selected in the estates of Fonterutoli and Belguardo, then hand-picked during the month of September. After fermentation at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C for about 16 days, the wine ages in small French and American oak barrels for 24 months, before being bottled.

Philip is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a noble and complex bouquet. On the palate it is intense, full-bodied, pleasantly mature and intriguing, with a long, complex and fresh aftertaste.

Perfect to accompany game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses and spicy dishes.
