Description

We are in the Tuscan Maremma, an area from which great oenological excellence originates, born from a surprising agreement between the international vines and those that are the typical vines of the territory.

Perpiero is a blend between the famous Sangiovese and the Cabernets of Bordeaux origin. Fermentation takes place in separate batches, with the Prince of Tuscany staying for a period in second passage French oak barrels while the Cabernets rest in new wood. The process is completed with assembly in the final blend and a further evolution of 12 months in barrique.

It is characterized by a bright ruby red color. Fruity sensations of blackberry, cherry and blueberry combine with herbaceous memories and spicy traces. In the mouth its fullness and its tannic texture are well balanced by the fruity pleasantness that lightens the sip. The finish is characterized by a good persistence.

Wine that in the combination is enhanced in the company of braised and well-aged cheeses.
