Description
The Toscana Rosso Paleo of the Le Macchiole winery is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Bolgheri.
It is produced exclusively with Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested by hand between the second and third week of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 20 days. Subsequently the wine is aged in barriques for 14 months, before being bottled.
It is characterized by a deep ruby red color. The nose opens with hints of currant, enriched by pleasant spicy notes of coffee and green tea. On the palate it is rich and deep, with very dense tannins.
Perfect to accompany roasts and stews, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
