Description

Toscana Oreno of Tenuta Sette Ponti originates from vineyards with an average age of up to 75 years facing south, which are located in the homonymous locality where the estate is located and through which the river of the same name, Oreno, flows.

Elegant Bordeaux blend with a Tuscan touch, it is obtained from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grapes, picked and selected only by hand. Fermentation occurs with maceration on the skins for 25 days, interspersed with numerous punching down. Subsequently the wine matures in French barriques for 12-18 months and for another 12 months in glass before being placed on the market.

In the glass it takes on a ruby red color with purple hues. On the nose, hints of ripe red fruit can be clearly perceived, accompanied by balsamic and chocolate notes. Fruity and spicy on the palate, it resolves with great balance.

Excellent wine to combine with fine meats and noble game, it goes well with braised red meats.
