Description

The Toscana Rosso Le Stanze di Poliziano was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Montepulciano.

It is mainly produced with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with integrated punching down by pumping over for 20-25 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 16 months, before being bottled.

Le Stanze is characterized by an intense garnet red color. The nose opens with hints of black cherry and blueberries, enriched with pleasant balsamic notes. On the palate it is fresh, balanced and structured, with silky and sweet tannins and with a persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany first courses with meat and game sauce, it is ideal in combination with roasts, stews and aged cheeses.
