Pergole Torte is an icon of Tuscan wine, born from the vision of Sergio Manetti di Montevertine and perfected by maestro Giulio Gambelli, guru of Sangiovese. The purity and elegance of the wine, with aromas of red fruits, spices and earth, reflect the tradition of Chianti Classico, where it is born. Emblematic for its complexity and longevity, this wine has redefined the standards of Tuscan viticulture, making itself unmistakable also thanks to its designer label.

Description

Le Pergole Torte is an iconic wine, a direct reference to the Tuscan company Montevertine and the Chianti area.

100% Sangiovese, for a concentrate of territory. After vinification in concrete tanks, the wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months, then continues with a further 12 months in barrique and concludes with 6 months in the bottle.

The ruby red color sparkles with some garnet reflections. The nose is complex and elegant. Its charm is told in a mix of red fruit, earth, spices and leather notes. The taste seduces with a promising tannin and a body as solid as it is discreet. It persists in the sign of a very fine freshness.

Pair with roast pigeon breast.
