Description

Le Cupole red wine is one of the most famous and well-known labels of the Trinoro Estate, a Tuscan reality born from the desire of Andrea Franchetti to produce wines of absolute excellence. The vineyards are located in a wild area of the Val d'Orcia, near Monte Cetona, which, due to its climate and soil, has proved to be particularly suitable for the most famous international red grape varieties.

It is a classic Bordeaux blend, made with Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grown at a high plant density and with very low yields. Fermentation takes place separately for each grape in steel vats, with maceration on the skins for a couple of weeks. The wine ages for 8 months in used French oak barrels and for 10 months in concrete.

Dark ruby red in color, it offers intense aromas of small black berried fruits, hints of spice, peppery nuances and balsamic sensations. The sip is intense and rich, with evolved tannins and a notable complexity and gustatory persistence.

To be combined with a mixed grill, grilled or roasted meat.
