Description
The Toscana Rosso La Vite Lucente of the Luce della Vite company was born in vineyards located on the hills of Montalcino, in Tuscany.
It is mainly produced with Merlot and Sangiovese grapes, harvested in September and fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of around 28 ° C for 12 days. The wine is left to macerate on the skins for 22 days, then undergoes the malolactic fermentation process in steel. It then ages in new and second-hand French oak barrels and a small part in American oak barrels before being bottled.
It is a wine with an intense purplish red color. The bouquet is rich and complex, with notes of ripe fruit such as cherry, raspberry and black currant and pleasant balsamic hints of eucalyptus and mint, enriched with notes of rosemary and sage and toasted nuances of coffee and hazelnut. On the palate it is round and velvety, with fine and silky tannins perfectly integrated with the alcoholic component. The aftertaste has slight nuances of fresh almond which contribute to giving elegance and balance to the wine.
Perfect to accompany pasta dishes with sauces and meat sauce, it is ideal to accompany red meats, stewed meats, game and mature cheeses.
