Description
The Hebo wine is born in the splendid vineyards of the Petra company, located on the ferrous hills of the Val di Cornia, in Tuscany. The name of this product derives from the name of an Etruscan settlement of very ancient origin, Ebo.
It is produced with a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese grapes, harvested by hand when fully ripe. The fermentation process is carried out in steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After this phase, the wine undergoes evolution in Slavonian oak barrels and a small part in barrique for about 10–12 months. A period of ageing in the bottle follows.
It has a clear ruby red color. In the olfactory analysis the fruity component is the master, with evident notes ranging from small red fruits, cherry and finally blueberry. In the mouth, it offers a fresh and well-structured flavour, thanks to the delicious harmony between tannins and acidity. The finish is sapid, with sensations of blackberry and dried fruit.
Perfect to accompany with grilled red meats and aged cheeses.
