Description

The Toscana Rosso Haiku by Castello di Ama was born in the Montebuoni vineyard, located on the hills between Gaiole and Radda in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico.

It is produced with Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested entirely by hand. After a soft pressing, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 30-32 ° C for 25 days. Subsequently the wine is aged in barrique for 12 months before being bottled.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense bouquet, with hints of wild berries, enriched by pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is fresh and elegant, with a complex, harmonious and pleasantly persistent body.

Perfect to accompany grilled red meats and mushroom-based dishes, it is ideal in combination with first courses with meat sauce and aged cheeses.
