Toscana IGT Collezione Privata Syrah 2019 Isole e Olena

The Toscana Syrah Private Collection of Isole e Olena was born in vineyards located in the Florentine municipality of Barberino Val d'Elsa.

It is produced only with Syrah grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 18 months in French and American oak barrels, and for another 12 months in large casks before being bottled.

It has a dark ruby red color with purple hues. The nose opens with a complex and intense bouquet of black currant and chocolate, enriched with persuasive notes of exotic spices, black tea and cloves. On the palate it is fresh and round, with balanced tannins.

Perfect to accompany first courses and red meats, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
