Description
Casamatta white wine is born in the vineyards of the famous Bibi Graetz Fiesole company, located on the hills overlooking the city of Florence.
It is made with Vermentino (60%), Trebbiano (30%) and Moscato (10%) grapes, of which 95% of the current year is taken and 5% of the previous harvest. The vinification process therefore involves an assembly of several vines but also of wines from different vintages (a sort of cuvée), which makes the product even more interesting.
It has a very light straw yellow colour, with golden reflections. On the nose, a very intense fruity dominates the scene, with notes of tropical fruit and peach that blend with light floral and herbaceous hints. In the mouth it shows a light body, outlined by an excellent freshness and a particular and captivating flavour. The finish is of good persistence with returns of fruity aromas.
Perfect to combine with fish, also excellent with first courses, vegetables and soft cheeses.
