Description

Toscana Carnasciale was born in the homonymous company located in the wonderful village of Mercatale Valdarno, in the province of Arezzo.

It is obtained from pure Caberlot grapes, harvested by hand during the month of October. Fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in new French oak barrels from Allier, Tronçais and Vosges for about 22 months, before being bottled.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose opens with intense aromas of red fruits with pleasant notes of tobacco and sweet spices. On the palate it is powerful and full-bodied, soft and velvety.

Ideal to accompany first courses with meat sauce, stewed, roasted or grilled red meats, this red wine goes perfectly with aged cheeses.
