Description
Canaiolo di Malenchini is a project to enhance the homonymous ancient variety typical of Tuscany, often used as a complement to Sangiovese. The particular characteristics of the land in the Antella area, in the province of Florence, allow the best expression of the potential inherent in the bunches of this variety.
The alcoholic fermentation of the must is carried out in steel at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C, with a short maceration on the skins in order to preserve the typical freshness of the grapes. An aging in oak barrels follows which gives greater character to the final wine.
It shows a ruby red color with purple nuances. Intense and lively aromas of cherry and other red berried fruit appear on the nose. On the palate it is an example of body and elegance, displayed in full harmony and in the name of a delicate and intriguing persistence.
Indicated in the company of cold cuts and lamb, it goes well with red meats in general.
