Description
Cabernet Sauvignon Robèo by Tenuta Carus takes its name from the Latin term “ruber”, which means red, to underline the strong and distinctive character of this wine. Produced exclusively with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, it is an elegant and harmonious wine. The vineyards are located on hilly terrain, characterized by soils rich in galestro and alberese, ideal for giving structure and longevity to the wine.
The grapes are hand-picked and placed in crates to preserve the integrity of the fruit. After harvesting, the wine is aged in French oak barrels, a process that enhances its elegance and complexity. The variable altitudes between 190 and 300 meters and the diverse exposure of the vineyards further contribute to the organoleptic richness of the wine.
It has a deep ruby color and purple reflections. The nose perceives elegant and rich notes of ripe berries, accompanied by hints of graphite, vanilla, tobacco and cocoa. The palate is deep and refined, with marked tannins that give an extraordinary persistence.
Perfect paired with Florentine steak or roast lamb with artichokes and peas.
