Description

The Tuscan Maestro Raro wine is produced by Felsina from grapes from the Rancia Piccola and Poggiolo vineyards, entirely dedicated to the cultivation of Cabernet Sauvignon.

It is obtained from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, which are pressed and destemmed. The grapes are fermented in steel for 16-20 days, with daily pumping over and punching down. The wine then ages for 18-20 months in first and second passage French oak barriques, before being bottled.

In the glass it has an intense ruby red color with violet nuances. The nose is characterized by aromas of small red and black fruits, tobacco and leather. The sip is warm and harmonious, with a long finish.

Excellent in combination with grilled red meats and aged cheeses.
