Description
Fattoria di Petreto's Toscana Semillon and Chenin Blanc is produced from vines that grow on calcareous, clayey soils and sedimentary rocks. This blend of Semillon and Chenin Blanc was created to enhance the territorial imprint of the grape varieties present in Petreto, offering an excellent balance that enhances the characteristics of each vine.
The manual harvest and delicate pressing precede fermentation in steel tanks for approximately 20/25 days. The wine then matures on fine yeasts in stainless steel tanks for six months, a technique that helps develop its structure and aromatic complexity, with an aging potential that reaches its peak 7-8 years after the harvest.
At sight, the wine has a straw yellow color. The nose reveals fruity and mineral notes. On the palate, it offers great flavor which translates into character, momentum and elegance, culminating in a long and mineral finish.
This wine pairs perfectly with fish and seafood dishes or cured meat appetizers. Its structure and freshness make it ideal for accompanying intense and delicate flavours.
