Description
The Tuscany Belvento Sangiovese di Petra was born in vineyards located in the splendid landscape of the Tuscan Maremma.
It is produced with pure Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected by hand in the second half of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature of 27 ° C. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in oak barrels and for another 3 months in bottle, before being put on the market.
It is characterized by a ruby red color, bright and transparent. The nose opens with elegant aromas of plums and black cherries, enriched with hints of thyme, eucalyptus, humus and with a strong note of black pepper. It is fresh and fruity on the palate, with well integrated soft tannins that accompany a pleasantly balsamic finish.
Perfect to accompany sausages and red meats, it is ideal in combination with roasts and aged cheeses.
