Description
The Rosso Rosso Belnero di Banfi is born in vineyards located between the Orcia and Ombrone rivers, in the southern slope of the municipality of Montalcino, a territory unique in the world for tradition and wine culture.
It is produced with Sangiovese grapes and other complementary vines. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24-26 ° C for 8/12 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 14 months, and for a further period in the bottle.
Belnero is characterized by an intense and deep mauve red color. The nose opens with delicate aromas of vanilla, tobacco and coffee, enriched with pleasant fruity hints of cherries and plums. On the palate it has a powerful structure, with important and well balanced tannins.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with soups and soups and aged cheeses.
