Description
Pinot Noir Selection 1465 was born in the vineyards of Podere Fortuna, located in the hills surrounding the areas of Mugello, in Tuscany. This wine represents the company's Cru, as it is made exclusively in the best vintages, with a targeted and very careful selection of the berries.
It is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes, harvested by hand in small boxes and immediately transferred to the cellar. After a completely natural fermentation, without added yeasts, carried out in open truncated conical French oak vats, the wine is placed in French oak barrels. Here it carries out the evolutionary phase for about twelve months and then finally moves to cement vats for six months, further refining its organoleptic characteristics. The bottling follows without filtration.
Pinot Noir Selection 1465 has a very intense ruby red color. The nose offers a decidedly elegant and bewitching scent, with a shade of undergrowth that blends with fruity notes of wild blackberry and raspberry and delicate sensations of rose. In the mouth it is linear, round and balanced, with a lively savory vein that accompanies a very persistent almond and fruity finish,
It is perfect in combination with grilled red meats and game, excellent with well-seasoned hard cheeses.
