Description
The Tuscany Rosso Tenuta Tignanello dei Marchesi Antinori was born in the homonymous vineyard located in the Chianti Classico area.
It is produced 80% from Sangiovese grapes, 5% from Cabernet Franc grapes and 15% from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes harvested and selected in the period from 20 September to 10 October. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature in oak barrels and gives the tannins greater finesse and fragrance. Subsequently the wine ages in French and Hungarian oak barrels for a period of about 12 - 14 months, then the different lots, vinified separately according to the variety, are assembled to create the final blend.
