Description

The Quinta Ruban by Glenmorangie is a scotch whisky from the Highlands, the darkest and most intense in the range, which is initially matured in American oak bourbon casks for 12 years and for another 2 years in "pipes" casks that previously contained a selection of Port directly from the Portuguese Quintas.

The whisky, with a deep amber color, releases vigorous notes of mint chocolate on the nose, enriched by delicate scents of mandarins and Seville oranges, followed by hints of sandalwood, nuts, pepper, and nutmeg. On the palate, it is smooth and velvety, with returns of citrus and rose, but also of mint chocolate that lingers long after the last sip.

An excellent cocktail whisky, it can ideally be served over ice cubes, completely neat, or with a few drops of water to enhance its aromatic component.
