Description

The Matsui The Peated is a single malt whiskey produced by the Matsui Shuzo Distillery, located in Tottori Prefecture, northwest of Kyoto and northeast of Hiroshima, on the coast of the Sea of Japan. More than 14% of the prefecture is a natural park, full of lush vegetation, rugged coastlines, rivers and lakes.

A single malt whiskey made with carefully selected peated malt, distilled in Tottori's natural environment and aged in selected ex-bourbon barrels.

In the glass it appears of an intense amber color. It has soft and sweet aromas, mellow and fruity, with a smoky and peaty finish.
