Description
Clear demonstration of the excellent adaptability of the Merlot variety in Sicily, this red from Cantine Fina is expressed in its warm and spicy tones.
The harvest began at the end of August. Fermentation in steel and aging first in steel and then in barrique for 12 months follows.
It is presented in the glass with an intense ruby color with purple reflections. On the nose it displays elegant hints of black currant and ripe plum, enriched by pleasant peppery notes. The taste is rich and round, with soft and well integrated tannins.
Excellent in combination with roast beef and roasts, it admirably accompanies aged cheeses. Try it with stewed rabbit.
