Description
Gibelè di Pellegrino is a pure Zibibbo wine, born from the clayey volcanic soils of the province of Trapani. The name refers to the island of the dammusi, a particular architectural structure typical of Sicily.
After a partial maceration, fermentation takes place at controlled temperature. The wine ages in steel for 4 months and completes its evolution in the bottle.
Straw yellow in the glass, it opens to the nose, leaving intense floral hints of jasmine and lavender, with references to green apple and cedar. The palate is both dry and fresh, it protrudes in a long persistence.
Ideal to combine with fish soups and crudités or with shellfish.
