Description
This Syrah was born inside the vineyards of the famous Cusumano company, located in the San Giacomo area, in the province of Caltanissetta.
Made entirely with Syrah grapes, harvested manually in the last ten days of August, the must is left to macerate cold for 2 days at 5 °C and then pass to 27-28 °C during the fermentation phase. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine remains on the fine lees for about 5 months and then finishes the ageing in bottle.
Syrah di Cusumano has an impenetrable ruby red color. The nose brings intense sensations of cherry and plum, which are followed by delicate very intriguing spices. In the mouth it is warm and full, with a subtle presence of the tannic component and a finish of pleasant persistence.
Perfect with red meats and aged cheeses.
