Description

Terre Siciliane SP68 Rosso di Arianna Occhipinti comes from organic vineyards located south of the Iblei Mountains, located in the Ragusa municipality of Vittoria. The SP68 is the road traveled by farmers to their vineyards.

It mainly originates from Frappato and Nero d'Avola grapes, harvested between the last week of September and the first ten days of October. Fermentation takes place with maceration on the skins for 15 days, using indigenous yeasts. Subsequently the wine ages for 6 months in cement tanks and for another 30 days in glass before being placed on the market.

It has a ruby red color. It offers intense aromas of black currant and earth, enriched with notes of thyme and spices. Fresh and soft in the mouth, it has sweet tannins and great aromatic persistence.

It goes sublime with first courses with meat sauce, stewed or grilled meat.
