Description
This Nero d'Avola is born within the vineyards of the famous Cusumano company, located in the San Giacomo area, in the province of Caltanissetta.
Made entirely with Nero d'Avola grapes, harvested manually in the first ten days of September, the must is left to macerate in the cold for 2 days at 5 °C and then pass to 27-28 °C during the fermentation phase. After malolactic fermentation, the wine remains on the fine lees for about 5 months and then concludes its ageing in bottle.
Nero d'Avola by Cusumano has an impenetrable ruby red colour. The nose brings intense fruity aromas, where notes of cherry and raspberry are well distinguished. In the mouth it is warm and full, with a subtle presence of the tannic component and a finish of pleasant persistence.
Perfect with red meats and aged cheeses.
