Description

The Terre Siciliane Nero d'Avola of Baglio di Grìsi was born in Grisì, a fraction of Monreale, in the province of Palermo.

It is made from 100% Nero d'Avola grapes, harvested and selected by hand around mid-September. The grapes are de-stemmed and vinified in thermoregulated steel tanks for 8-12 days at a temperature of 24/28 ° C with the addition of selected yeasts, during which frequent pumping over is carried out. The wine thus obtained is then aged in wood.

It has a deep ruby red color. It opens on the nose with an enveloping scent of red fruit, cherries above all, and spicy notes. On the palate it is intense and structured, with a pleasant finish.

This red wine is perfect to accompany red meat dishes and semi-aged cheeses.
