Description
Nero d'Avola Gazzerotta by Cantine Pellegrino is a red produced in the Gazzerotta estate, located in Mazzara del Vallo, in the province of Trapani.
The bunches are harvested in the second ten days of September. The vinification takes place with a long maceration. The wine then ages for at least 24 months in steel tanks and barriques.
Intense ruby red to the eye, it has intense notes of fresh and dried red fruit on the nose, which alternate with pleasant hints of spices and chestnut honey. On the palate it is warm, quite soft and with well integrated tannins.
It goes well with risotto with mushrooms and grilled meats.
