Description
The Rina Russa di Santa Tresa red wine is born in vineyards located in Sicily, in the province of Ragusa, from pure Frappato grapes. In Sicilian dialect “Rina Russa” means “red sand”.
The grapes are first kept in a cold room for one night. They are then destemmed and softly pressed. The vinification takes place in steel vats and lasts 10-12 days. The refinement takes place in steel for 4-6 months.
Bright ruby red in colour, it expresses itself on the nose with hints of wild strawberry. The sip is dry and fresh, with fine tannins.
Excellent to accompany cured meats or tasty fish such as swordfish and tuna.
