Description
Finimondo! delle Cantine Pellegrino was born in the hinterland of Agrigento, from a clayey-silty soil known as Terra Grande, from vineyards with an altitude that can reach 600 meters above sea level. The windiness of the place mitigates any temperature peaks, especially in summer.
Autochthonous and traditional vines make up the blend. The grapes are exposed to the Sicilian sun through the cutting technique of the shoot to achieve a natural drying that pushes the aromatic expression of the ripe bunches to the maximum. After a long fermentation with maceration it matures in wood for 4 months.
It has a deep ruby red color. The nose offers a persuasive and delicate bouquet with notes of plum and red fruits combined with sweet hints of dried and candied fruit. In the mouth there is the evident fruity component, wrapped in a spicy aftertaste.
Ideal in combination with cold cuts and tempura vegetables, it can be served a little cooler as an aperitif.
