Description
The first wine of the Duca di Salaparuta winery and the first Nero d'Avola that Sicilian oenology has ever known, Duke Enrico comes to life from the highly selected vineyards of the Suor Marchesa estate located in the Nissian town of Butera.
Made up of only Nero d'Avola grapes, harvested by hand once it has reached perfect ripeness, it is the result of fermentation with maceration for 8-10 days at a temperature of 28-30 ° C. Refine for at least 18 months in French oak barrels and for a further 18 months in bottle.
Ruby red in appearance with garnet nail, it expresses an aristocratic and complex bouquet made of ripe red fruits to which floral references of iris and spice are added. On the palate it is powerful and soft, with great structure and character.
Excellent in the company of red meats and medium-aged cheeses, it is enhanced in combination with tasty dishes. Excellent for meditation.
