Description
The Calanìca Rosato di Duca di Salaparuta comes to life from a blend of indigenous red berry varieties from vineyards located in central-western Sicily, shaped by a Mediterranean climate tending to the arid heat.
Harvest that starts from the second week of September. Short cold maceration and soft pressing follows, then fermentation at controlled temperature and aging in steel for over a month.
Blush pink color. The nose is dominated by citrus notes, well intertwined with notes of white peach. On the palate it is lively, fresh and aromatic.
Perfect as an aperitif, it is exalted together with fish dishes, even raw.
