Description
The La Vigna di Augustali red wine is born in vineyards located in the Monreale area, among the hills of the Palermo hinterland.
It is produced from pure Nero d'Avola grapes. The vinification takes place in thermo-controlled steel tanks, with maceration on the skins for 8-10 days. The wine subsequently ages for 75% in steel tanks, for the rest in large barrels for up to 11 months.
Ruby red in color with purple reflections, it reveals aromas of violets, cherries, black fruits and chocolate to the nose. The sip is warm, with good structure and persistence.
This red wine is perfect for accompanying tasty fish dishes such as tuna, mackerel and sardines.
