Description
Augustali's Contrasto del Bianco wine is born in vineyards located between the municipalities of Alcamo and Partinico, in the heart of western Sicily.
It is mainly produced with Vermentino grapes and Catarratto grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand, between the first and second ten days of September. After the classic white winemaking processes, the wine ages for 6 months in steel tanks and for a further 12 months in the bottle, before being placed on the market.
Augustali's Contrasto del Bianco has a straw yellow color. The nose opens with delicate notes of yellow flowers, enriched with citrus, balsamic and Mediterranean herbal hints. In the mouth it is savory and balanced, with a pleasantly tannic finish with good harmony.
This white wine is perfect for accompanying fish-based second courses.
