Description
The Stécia red wine from the Château des Crès Ricards is born in vineyards located in the village of Ceyras. The company was created in 1960 and currently manages approx. 42 hectares of vineyards.
The wine is made from Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvèdre grapes. La Grenache is vinified with maceration for 2-4 weeks. The Carignano undergoes whole bunch carbonic maceration for 15-18 days. The refinement of the assembly takes place partly in steel, partly in wood.
Garnet red in color, the nose reveals smoky aromas and mineral notes. The sip is intense, with silky tannins and a long persistence.
Excellent with lamb stew, stewed red meat and duck fillet.
