Description

The Teroldego Rotaliano Riserva of the Castel Firmian collection of Mezzacorona was born within the Piana Rotaliana, a highly suitable area in Trentino, in particular in the "Fron", "Rauti" areas; "Catorzi" and "Sottodossi".

It is produced exclusively with Teroldego grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. The must macerates in contact with the skins and ferments in steel at a controlled temperature of 25 ° C for 12-18 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 24 months, of which at least 12 months in French Allier and Tronçais oak, followed by a further period of aging in bottle before being marketed.

It has an intense ruby red color. The nose expresses a persuasive bouquet of ripe fruit, in which hints of blueberry, plums and red currants prevail, enriched with spicy notes that derive from the passage in wood. On the palate it is full and full-bodied, pleasantly tannic and harmonious.

Perfect to accompany boiled, roasted and grilled red meats, this wine is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
