Taurasi DOCG Ti Voglio Bene Papà 2019 Feudi di San Gregorio

The Taurasi of Feudi di San Gregorio was born in vineyards located in the heart of the Taurasi DOCG.

It is produced with pure Aglianico grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration, in steel tanks for approximately 3 weeks. Subsequently the wine ages for 18 months in medium toasted French oak barriques and for another 9 months in the bottle, before being put on the market.

The Taurasi of Feudi di San Gregorio has a brilliant ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with intense hints of sour cherry and morello cherry, enriched with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and anise. In the mouth it is full and balanced, with soft tannins that lead towards a pleasantly aromatic and persistent finish.

A wine with great longevity, it proves perfect to accompany roasted red meats. Ideal in combination with noble poultry and Aglianico braised meats.
