Description

The Taurasi Radici di Mastroberardino was born in the vineyards of Montemarano and Mirabella Eclano, located in the heart of the Taurasi DOCG.

It is produced exclusively with Aglianico grapes, harvested by hand between the end of October and the beginning of November. The must carries out the classic red vinification, with a long maceration in contact with the skins, at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for about 24 months in barrique and oak barrels before being bottled.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The wine offers an important bouquet, with hints of cherry, violet and berries, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is enveloping and elegant, with intense sensations of plum, black cherry and strawberries. Radici represents the history and culture of Irpina viticulture, with a full-bodied structure and an energetic personality.

Perfect to accompany roasted red meats, it is ideal in combination with dishes based on truffles and aged cheeses.
