Description

The Sauvignon Blanc of the Hughes&Hughes line is produced by Mewstone, a winery located in Tasmania and founded in 2011 by brothers Matthew and Jonathan, with the intention of producing low intervention wines, often with little or no added sulphites. The grapes come from a single vineyard located in the Coal River Valley.

The grapes are vinified with a 12-hour maceration on the skins, to then continue the natural fermentation for over 3 months. The wine is bottled without fining.

Golden yellow in colour, the nose reveals rich aromas of tropical fruits, with citrus hints.

It is excellent in combination with first courses with white sauces with herbs and with fatty cheeses.
