Mezcal DOP Tamaulipas Derrumbes

Derrumbes Tamaulipas is an artisanal Mezcal produced in one of the rarest and least known regions of Mexico. Created by Master Mezcalero Cuauthemoc Jacquez, this spirit represents an exceptional expression of the Tamaulipas terroir. It is made with a blend of three different varieties of agave: Univittata, Funkiana and Americana, of which only Americana is available outside the state of Tamaulipas.

Despite the difficulties and warnings regarding the dangers of the region, the production of Derrumbes Tamaulipas follows traditional artisan methods, ensuring a product of high quality and authenticity. This Mezcal is distilled at 47%, ensuring an intense and complex tasting experience.

On the nose, Derrumbes Tamaulipas offers a strong aromatic profile with hints of green pepper and mustard.
