Description
Fritz's Szekszárd Bikavér is a traditional Hungarian red wine from the Szekszárd wine region produced with a blend of Kékfrankos, Kadarka, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. This wine, with its spicy, complex bouquet and red berry flavours, offers a lingering finish that evokes the uniqueness of Szekszárd in every sip.
Winemaking follows traditional methods with manual harvesting and selection of bunches, fermentation in stainless steel tanks and separate maturation of each variety for 12 months, followed by a further joint maturation of 6 months in second and third fill oak barrels.
The aromatic profile of Bikavér includes hints of spices and red berries, with a complex structure and a long, persistent finish.
This wine pairs perfectly with red meats, spicy dishes and mature cheeses, enhancing the flavors with its complexity and persistence.
