Description

Duna by Podere29 is a red wine made from Susumaniello grapes cultivated in a sandy terroir in the Daunia area, in the Agro di Cerignola, which enhances its unique and distinctive character. The grape variety, historically linked to the winemaking tradition of the region, gives rise to a product of great personality, capable of expressing the best of the territory.

The winemaking process involves careful fermentation, followed by a maturation period of nine months in large barrels. This stage allows for the enhancement of the wine's structure, softening the tannins and promoting the development of an aromatic complexity that enriches over time.

Visually, it presents an intense and deep color, indicative of great concentration. The bouquet is rich and enveloping, with aromas of ripe red fruits, particularly plum, accompanied by herbal notes and a delicate spicy return. On the palate, a complex and harmonious structure emerges, characterized by elegant tannins and a long, balanced finish.

It pairs perfectly with structured dishes based on red meat or game, enhancing the flavors with its intensity and persistence.
