Description
This Riesling of the Novacella Abbey was born in the Bressanone basin, within the South Tyrolean sub-area of the Isarco Valley, at the junction point between the Eastern Rhaetian Alps and the Dolomites.
The basis of this wine is the grape of the Riesling Renano variety, a white grape variety originating in Germany, vinified in steel with an aging period of 6 months.
Straw yellow by the glass with greenish reflections, it offers citrus and vegetal aromas to the nose that are tied to floral perceptions of jasmine and wisteria. The palate is gritty on notes of cedar and lime, embellished with peaks of minerality and freshness that makes drinking smooth and immediate.
It is excellent with ravioli stuffed with pumpkin and asparagus dishes.
