Description

Aristos is the name of a line of special labels signed by the Valle Isarco winery. These are wines made with grapes harvested from carefully selected areas, directed towards the highest quality right from the vineyard. And Pinot Gris, one of the grape varieties symbol of South Tyrolean viticulture, certainly could not be missing from the Aristos family of excellence.

The Pinot Gris grapes, which make up 100% of the blend, are harvested from vineyards between 550 and 650 meters above sea level, defined by clayey soils, very deep and with good fertility. Following a brief maceration, the grapes ferment partly in large oak barrels and partly in steel tanks. Finally, stop for 7 months in contact with your fine lees.

Straw yellow with greenish reflections. Its bouquet can be intense but at the same time fine, with fruity flavours of pear and apple and a rocky mineral trace. On the palate it confirms an elegant gait, supported by a solid structure and good softness. Fades into delicate notes of white fruit that paint its sweet persistence.

Excellent to accompany a pork loin baked with potatoes.
